For your consideration is an outstanding original gouache on board painting titled "Trapper's Alley" - created in 1994 by Detroit artist Don Jacot (8x7, 16x14 framed). Professionally framed and in excellent condition.

Don Jacot (American, b.1949) is a Photorealist artist who works in acrylics, oils, gouache, watercolor, and charcoal. Jacot began drawing recreationally in Detroit, MI, in 1981, using charcoal on paper to interpret photographs of works by famous masters, such as Charles Sheeler and Walker Evans. Though he took basic drawing classes at Wayne State University, he is largely self-taught. In 1983, he began to seriously pursue art as a full-time career while working part-time as a physician's assistant.
