A rare “RAR” (Rocking Chair on Rod) designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Cream/yellow fiberglass shell seat produced by Zenith Plastics, 2nd edition, circa 1950s. Rope edge design. Original Herman Miller tag on underside (see photos for reference). The Eames RAR Chair was originally marketed as a rocker chair ‘good for young mothers’ but it is fair to say it is a favorite corner piece in all kinds of homes today. From a private collection. Dimensions: 26.5”h x 25.5”w x 28”d. In exceptionally good vintage condition.

We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

 

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
